Disturbing new video shows the moment a would-be robber stabbed and slashed a man in Midtown earlier this week.

The 27-year-old victim was walking around 2 a.m. Monday on East 42nd Street near Madison Avenue when another man grabbed him — slashing him in the right hand and stabbing him in the stomach, according to cops and the clip released early Tuesday.

The stabbing sent the victim falling to the ground — but he got back up and ran off, the clip shows.

His attacker followed him but eventually fled along with three other men who are sought for questioning, cops said.

Police investigate the scene after the incident on Monday, Nov. 22.

The victim flagged down MTA cops near Grand Central Terminal and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Investigators are still looking for all four men, who are shown in surveillance photos before the attack getting off a 6 train at Grand Central/42nd Street.
