New York Attorney General Letitia James on Wednesday unexpectedly released thousands of pages of interview transcripts and exhibits from the sexual harassment probe that forced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign in disgrace earlier this year.
The massive document dump includes the official, written account of Cuomo’s “highly confidential video recorded testimony” on July 17, when he was grilled by outside lawyers hired by James for about 11 hours.
Also released were transcripts of the interviews with ten accusers, including former aide Brittany Commisso, whose claim that Cuomo groped her in Albany’s Executive Mansion led to the filing of a misdemeanor charge of forcible touching against him last month.
