Teen suspect charged in shooting of 14-year-old in Harlem

A teenager was arrested Monday for allegedly shooting a 14-year-old boy as he boarded an MTA bus in Harlem last month, police said.

The male suspect, 16, was charged with attempted murder for the shooting at the entrance of an M1 bus on the corner of West 139th Street and Lenox Avenue on Oct. 14, according to the NYPD.

The victim was grazed in the head by a bullet — and two other shots struck a protective shield near the bus driver and the vehicle’s windshield, authorities said.
