A mugger shoved a woman onto the subway tracks in a Times Square station Friday afternoon — prompting good Samaritans to help her to safety and even foil the creep’s getaway, police said.

The suspect, who is believed to be in his 40s, had grabbed the woman’s belongings around 1:45 p.m. at the 42nd Street station and pushed her onto the tracks for the northbound R train, according to the NYPD.

Quick-thinking bystanders helped the woman up from the tracks — and nabbed her attacker and held him until cops arrived, police said.

The woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital for injuries to her head, according to cops.
