Two Los Angeles sports stars shared a positive reaction Thursday to Odell Beckham Jr.’s decision to sign with the Rams,
Shortly after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Rams had signed Beckham on a one-year deal, outside linebacker Von Miller shared a screenshot of him on FaceTime with the wide receiver. Lakers star LeBron James tweeted his own response to the breaking news, welcoming Beckham to Los Angeles. Former NBA star Dwayne Wade also chimed in with his thoughts.

Before Beckham, Miller was Los Angeles’ most recent acquisition. After spending more than decade in Denver, he was dealt by the Broncos to the Rams before the NFL trade deadline in exchange for second- and third-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. He’s expected to suit up with LA for the first time Monday night as the Rams (7-2) face the 49ers (3-5) on the road.

Beckham is also expected to be available for the Rams in their “Monday Night Football” matchup in Santa Clara, Calif. He became a free agent for the first time in his career after he was waived by the Browns on Monday. He adds to a depth chart that already includes wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods.
