Female jogger sexually assaulted in Central Park: authorities

A female jogger was choked unconscious and sexually assaulted in Central Park Thursday morning — a short time before a perv attempted to attack someone else along the FDR Drive, authorities said.

The woman, who cops say is between 20 and 30 years old, was jogging on Center Drive, near Swan Lake, around 7:20 a.m. when a man came up behind her and put her in a chokehold, causing her to lose consciousness, police said.

He then sexually assaulted her and bolted, cops said.

About 45 minutes later, cops received a report of an attempted sexual assault at 103rd Street and the FDR Drive.

A suspect was taken into custody in connection to that incident, authorities said.
