A 17-year-old city student was busted with a loaded 9 mm pistol and more than $30,000 in cash inside a Brooklyn high school Wednesday, according to law enforcement sources.

A school secretary spotted what she believed to be a firearm inside the backpack of a student at the Academy for Integrated Learning in downtown Brooklyn around noon, sources said.

The staffer spotted the weapon while the tardy student recorded his attendance inside a school office.

NYPD units were called to the scene and discovered a stack of bills amounting to more than $30,000, along with the loaded gun, sources said.

The teen was arrested and taken to a local precinct for processing.

“Dangerous items of any kind have absolutely no place in our schools, and our outstanding school staff and School Safety Agents immediately and safely recovered this item shortly after the student entered the school building, ensuring that all students and staff are safe,” said Department of Education spokesman Nathaniel Styer. “All protocols were followed, and we are working closely with NYPD regarding follow-up actions.”

Numerous guns have been recovered this year in and around city schools — including three pistols that were recovered over the course of a day in October.
