Boy, 15, busted in fatal NYC hit-and-run: cops

A 15-year-old boy was busted in connection to the hit-and-run that killed a motorcyclist in East Harlem, cops said.

The teen was heading south on Second Avenue when he collided with 46-year-old Chona White, who was heading east down East 112th Street around 10:15 a.m., police said.

White was thrown from the motorcycle and rushed to Metropolitan Hospital, but he could not be saved, cops said.

The teen motorist — who has not been identified because of his age — took off, and his vehicle was found unoccupied near East 111th Street and 2nd Avenue, about a block from the scene, authorities said.

The teen returned to the scene about an hour later and was arrested, cops said.

He was charged with vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident, authorities said.

Cops could not confirm Wednesday whether the teen struck the motorcyclist or the motorcyclist hit the teen’s vehicle.

Police also were unable to confirm who owned the Mazda the teen was driving.
